PHPMotion is NOT Open Source. To be Open Source means that the code base MUST NOT BE ENCRYPTED in any way, and/or the unencrypted code must be made available upon request. PHPMotion is indeed at least partially encrypted and the unencrypted (or “open”) version is not made available. You’re better off using a CMS and a plugin than using encrypted code.

Ultimatetube.com is one of the largest PHPmotion based website. The site is mostly Christian Videos. Good theme and great site.

The software is good and of use. A good one in competition. Looks good and better with time. Kudos to the team. A much lively interactivity needed to be the best.

Just one word. AVOID PHPmotion. I’ve got my fingers burnt and say to say there is no turning back now. They have poor product and even worst customer services. Don’t use them unless you want to get yourself into trouble. Don’t buy from them unless you are rich.

I came across a very interesting new web 2.0 application to mass add videos to the phpmotion video script.

They claim to be able to plug directly into phpmotion and tranfser videos from over 25 million to your phpmotion website.

The site is launching late June so havent seen the application running first hand, but there is plenty of information on the website and a demo video to see the application.
